Farmington Valley Counseling Connections As a licensed professional counselor, I have been helping individuals,
couples, families, and groups to resolve emotional stresses, relationship problems and make positive connections for over
twenty years. Psychotherapy or counseling enables people to improve coping skills, reduce hurtful behaviors, and live emotionally
healthier lives. These are skills that all of us can learn with the right assistance and coaching. My approach is quite eclectic
utilizing a variety of therapy modalities to customize my client’s treatment plan. I can address a broad range of emotional,
social, relationship and educational difficulties. In addition to my private practice, I am currently the Director
of a Youth Service Bureau, a Board member for CT Youth Services Association (CYSA); a Board member of the Governor’s
Prevention Partnership (GPP): the CT Coalition to Stop Underage Drinking (CCSUD); a Board member of Capital Area Substance
Abuse Council (CASAC); an active member of the Community of Concern (COC); and a former certified elementary school teacher. My most significant roles are
as wife and mother of three sons. The journey through life can be exciting as well as challenging. Depending upon how you
perceive and frame the events you experience along the way, will help to determine how you feel and cope with situations which
arise. Connecting your mind and body will ultimately allow you to feel good about the experiences as you process them.
